Custom molding instructions for Massager tip silicone + plastic integrated overmolding part
This massager tip is made using an integrated overmolding process of silicone and plastic. First, a plastic part with high structural strength is injection molded, then the plastic part is placed into a silicone molding die, and silicone material is injected to tightly bond the silicone with the plastic.
Due to the fact that during the silicone + plastic integrated overmolding process, the temperature of the injected silicone material exceeds 120°C, and the material pressure is ≥150kg/cm². Therefore, the material for the plastic part needs to be selected from plastics with higher hardness and high-temperature resistance, such as PC and nylon, or metal can be chosen as the material for the structural part.
Conductive silicone or rubber materials such as EPDM and NBR can also be chosen as flexible materials for wrapping to meet different usage requirements.
